Opening Reception
Immediately proceeding the first day of breakout sessions, attendees will have time to celebrate and network at the Conference Opening Reception. With over 800 members, MAVA aims to inspire excellence in the leadership of volunteers to impact communities. MAVA provides news, information, advocacy, professional development and training opportunities. MAVA offers a two-day series on the best practices of volunteer management at locations around Minnesota, a workshop on engaging boomers and future generations of volunteers, quarterly professional development opportunities in the metro area, a conference every two years and a variety of training opportunities.
