2009 MCN/MCF Joint Annual Conference

Submit a Breakout Session Proposal Today!
Deadline: Wednesday, May 13, 5 p.m.

The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN) and the Minnesota Council on Foundations (MCF) are seeking your proposals for breakout sessions at our Joint Annual Conference, Transforming Our Work: From Challenging Times to Hopeful Futures, to be held on November 5-6, 2009, at the Saint Paul RiverCentre.

Conference Description

2009 is a time of retooling and transformation for nonprofits, grantmakers, and the public and private sectors. As volunteers, staff and board members make decisions for their organizations’ futures, they face critical choices about how to be nimble, effective, efficient and better able to achieve their missions.

At the MCN/MCF Joint Annual Conference, participants will assemble practical tools to transform their organizations. Whether it’s re-engineering communications, management, human resources, finance or other systems, they’ll learn what’s essential and effective, how to be responsive yet results-oriented, and ways to thrive as they refocus on pursuing their organizations’ missions. And beyond all that, participants will make connections, become inspired and re-energized, and discover a renewed hope for the future.
